Collectively, your Board Members have been making Duck Creek either their home or home away from home for over 30 years and have a vested interest in maintaining a positive quality of life for all. First, everyone on the board is a volunteer. We receive absolutely nothing for what we do. We do it because we're trying to keep things simple and make our subdivision the best that it can be. One of our jobs is to protect the investment of all property owners. We have been asked by our members to enforce the CC&Rs and to ensure that when someone is ready to sell their lot, that they can get the best return on their investment.

Other Tasks include:

**Distribute welcome packets to new property owners
**Organize special community clean up activities
**Host the annual Home Owners Appreciation Bar B Que
**Publish 2 newsletters per year.
**Update and maintain the MVHOA Bulletin Board to disseminate information to property owners on issues that affect you
**Continually research products to mitigate the dust hazard
**Update the Website
**Answer all communications addressed to the association
**Man the association phone number. We receive over 100 messages each year and are responsible to answer each inquiry.
**Work with the Cedar Mountain Fire Protection District to notify property owners of heightened fire restrictions.
**Maintain a data base of all property owners to facilitate communication.
**Confer with our attorney to make sure we are always complying with the law.
**Update and amend Association Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, and CC&Rs.
